Branch out from downtown dining

Mikado's turned out to be a great place to stop for dinner. We arrived during their last hour open and were dismayed to sees that we were the last couple dining so late on a Saturday night. The staff very graciously welcomed us,though, and served us as if it were no inconvenience at all. Having both worked in restaurants ourselves, we know how selfless one must be to accommodate latecomers with such patience. Every piece of sushi we ordered was delicious. The wasabi was spot-on and the specials were beautiful. Overall, Mikado was much more affordable and the seating arrangements were preferable to the current options downtown. (The last place we frequented downtown was quite awkward and busy, with tables laid out more like a cafeteria, *but with higher prices and slower service.) Mikado's sushi chef was both refined and pleasant to interact with. The waiters were friendly and the manager treated us like family. It was an excellent meal that left us wanting to return many times in the future! Thanks, Mikado!
Enjoyable and affordable

I have had lunch at this location on a few occasions. Each visit has been a very enjoyable experice. I was able to handle business with minimal distraction- and the food was very good also.
